Day Camp is open to boys and girls ages 7-13. Day Camp focuses on the development of fundamental skills through enjoyable exercises and competitions. This is an outstanding camp for local players with a desire to improve by training with Texas State coaches and players!
With more than 30 years of coaching and camp experience, Texas State Head Coach Steve Holeman promises to bring you an amazing week of fun, learning, and soccer. The camp will take place at the multi-million dollar Bobcat Soccer Complex. This state-of-the-art complex is also home to an air-conditioned indoor facility where campers can escape the heat during breaks and enjoy daytime activities.
You will start the day with a fun musical morning warm-up prior to the day’s first session of technical training. You will then take a break from the heat as we escort campers to swim at the indoor pool on campus. After lunch at the dining hall on campus, you will head back to the soccer complex for the afternoon tactical session. To conclude the day you will compete in small-sided to full-sided games!
In addition to learning about the great game of soccer you will also have fun with our daily competitions like Soccer Olympics, Crazy T-shirt contest, Crazy Hair day, and more!
